Color Web Printers Recognized in WOA Annual Print Awards
Competition
May, 2007 – Color Web Printers, the commercial printing
division of Gazette Communications, Inc. received two awards in
the Web Offset Association’s (WOA) 2007 Print Awards Competition.
The winning submissions were: First Place for the University of
Iowa Spectator; and Best of Category (A3), also for the Spectator.
The WOA is a national organization and the awards competition
is open to all members. Over 500 entries in the competition were
judged on the following criteria: registration; degree of difficulty;
folding, binding or other finishing; and overall craftsmanship
of the product. Awards were presented at the 55th Annual WOA Conference,
April 29 - May 2, in Toronto, Canada.
